the finial is a bit delicate, but overall the lamp is beautiful! super easy to assemble, too.My wife and I purchased a pair of these lamps and we love them! Very practical. The light switch is at the base of the light bulb and there’s another switch on the power cord itself. My favorite feature is that there are 2 usb connectors at the base of the lamp; great for charging my phone overnight without running an additional power cord behind the bed. Simple style that gives our bedroom a nice relaxing look. We chose soft white light bulbs for a relaxing ambiance.This lamp is good and as I expected, except that the metal piece (the silver part that the shade attaches to) at the top seems askew and is causing the whole lampshade to be crooked, which my anal retentiveness can't handle ? Can't figure out a way to contact the seller to see if they can find a replacement piece to send me (I'd really prefer not to have to send the whole thing back) so I'm hoping they see this review! ??This lamp is really beautiful! Since I didn't expect the in-line switch, I only dropped the rating to a, 4. Such an almost-good idea!It was very easy to assemble. I read a review saying the top part of the shade attachment is higher than the lamp shade and doesn’t look good but mine is not and it appears that person had that part upside down. I’m very happy with my new lamp.I was skeptical when I saw the shade needed to be assembled, but it came our perfect. The lamp is sturdy and well made. Very happy.This is a cute, inexpensive lamp. Just what I was looking for.
