I ordered this direct from Amazon on a Friday, the stereo arrived only a few days later -surprising as I live in Canada and it normally takes a while- I did have some issues with the item but Amazon handled the issue quickly and better than I could have imagined. Customer Service was so amazing I wondered why every retailer couldn't be this good! So rest assured that if you have issues, Amazon will look after you.So onto the stereo - the contents were well ackaged and protected. The instructions were somewhat lacking, but installation is rather simple, and I had previously installed a Shark 250 W on another bike I had. The stereo and wiring is plug and play. I put this stereo on my 2002 HD Road King, the T Tap went in perfectly into the harnes located under the seat but on top of the fender. Mounting the speakers was easy -I don't have a fairing- I put a speaker on either side of my Tac using the P clamps and one under each mirror. All the wiring I ran through the Nicel and under the console above the tank. Here is where the problems began, there was not sufficient length to run from the handle bars to the wiring harness out of the amp, which I mounted in the compartment under the front part of the seat. On top of that the harness made for a bad connection to the speakers so the sound was junk. To fix this I clipped off the harnesses and direct attached the wires to each other, and also added some length to the wires by patching in additional wires, still sounds like junk. Then I realized that both my USB charger and volume control disc had frayed wires. Again I did some patch work, and wow man did the stereo sound awesome! It's clear as a bell over the pipes, not an issue. The wire, connectors and heat shrink came to about 30$ at Canadian Tire (but if you're American, remember that we pay double to triple on what you guys pay).Overall, the speakers blend seamlessly into the look of the bike. The amp and wiring was very easy to conceal, as the amp is quite small and there are plenty off nooks and crannies on the bike. My only gripe style wise, are the USB charger, which is big, bulky and difficult to conceal on the handle bars. Also, the volume control knob is poorly designed and only moderately concealable on the handle bars. If PYLE and SHARK paired up, they would probably be putting out the best and loudest stereo at this price point. But I have to say that I enjoy the Pyle stereo over the Shark. It took under an hour to install the stereo on the bike, but several more hours to make the necessary repairs, so I could use it while I await replacement parts.Hope this helpsThese speakers are bad ass! They are super loud with crisp, clear sound! I could hear them on a pretty windy day (25 mph winds) doing 80 with a full face helmet on! The USB and volume control are both very heavy duty metal frames. Although I didn't install the volume control initially, I will have to add it back on to make adjusting the sound easier because going from 80 to hitting city streets this thing is just WAY too loud! LOL The speakers themselves are all metal and sturdy themselves, but the design is lame...they look like shower heads. Instructions are lacking. Not very clear. It says it is plug and play, but on my 2006 HD Deluxe the connection at the end that was supposed to plug into my bike was almost the same connection that was on my bike, both were female ends. I cut off both connections and spliced them together and also added my usb to this splice. I put my amp and extra wiring in my windshield pouch, but noticed today that the amp was super hot, so I will have to find out if that is normal. Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase. I would recommend anyone looking at Cycle Sounds or Boom Audio to check these out first. $300 cheaper and you get 4 speakers that are all metal and not plastic.Cons: Amp gets really hotvolume control switch really sucks, installed it and the removed it.Speaker faces look like shower headsNo plug n playPros: really loud4 speakers vs 2 for other brands of same pricemost wiring is really longmetal speakers i stead of plasticstill sounds good in the rainI ordered these speakers and amp but didn't get them installed for another 45 days. Once installed they were great, for a day. On day 2, 2 of the 4 speakers were blown and since it took me too long to install them I had to get an RMA and send them in for repair paying $20 upfront for "shipping". I was frustrated because my bike had sound for a day then lost it but figured I'll get the replacement back and it will be okay. After almost 2 weeks they replaced the 2 blown speakers with one that is pitied and textured and the other that actually has a big glob of hot glue to hold the wire in the speaker housing I attached some pictures for everyone to see. Needless to say these old, used, trash speakers will not be installed on my bike. I will start the process with this company again tomorrow but my hopes are not high because any company that would handle an RMA this way and send trash to a customer to install on a bike whether it's a $10K or $1K bike probably won't willingly replace the trash. I have spent more than $500.00 with this company via Amazon in the last 4 months and am extremely disappointed to learn that the company isn't interested in making happy customers, it seems to me they are interested in doing the minimum to meet their warranty requirements and not having repeat customers. We'll see, l will update this if I'm surprised if not I'll spend a couple hundred more dollars and go with another company spending the rest of my days evangelizing my bad experience with Pyle, Pyramid, Legacy, Lanzar, and sound around. I am a pro AV systems integrator so I deal with Audio companies and RMA's on a weekly basis, even with literally the hundreds of RMAs I've done with some of the worst and best companies in the business I have NEVER had gear replaced with trash, Bstock yes, dozens of times, trash, NEVER. Sound Around, I worked too hard for my motorcycle and have too much pride in myself and my bike too put this trash on it.The volume control after 3 months is REALLY sensitive, but I'm getting used to it.the USB charger works still though. It's loud.. really loud. to the point I'm quite embarrassed if I've got it up to listen at speed, then stop at a light and as I mostly listen to talk radio or audiobooks/podcasts and they start swearing.. and it's still up to compensate for the wind noise. All that aside, it's fun, I've used it camping while we set up tents but I'm sure it'll drain the battery quickly...I have mixed thoughts on this product all in all this is a great product with great sound and build quality, the issue I had was One of the speakers failed with in a week of doing a permanent in stall on my bike with custom brackets, I could not be bothered to remove from bike and contact the supplier due to hearing about bad customer service, will be contacting customer service and then I will updated my review on the rest of my experience on this kit. beware of installing this permanently in-case of issues. Not as clear sound as I thought it would be. Easy to fit though.great item east to install nice clear sound even at high volume. would recommend this to anyone.positiv: klein und kompakt, wer klaren hellen saunt mag für den passt das, für mich nicht es fehlt bums also bass, würd sie eher als gute Hochtöner bezeichnen.negativ: in Beschreibung steht Aluminium-Druckgusslautsprecher, angekommen sind verchromte, Verstärker hat keinen Ausschalter zieht also permanent Strom von Batterie, Stecker nicht Wasserdicht, Sicherung fehlt, Verstärker wird bei Lautstärke ziemlich schnell heiß, bin gespant wie lang er das aushält, interessant wär auch ob dieser wasserdicht ist, wird sich zeigen
